  • For IOCB employees, workspaces equipped with desks are prepared, with four of them being furnished with monitors that include HDMI cables for connection. However, a computer must be brought by the user. Internet connection is available exclusively through the institutional Wi-Fi network; no wired connection is provided.

  • All visitors must behave quietly and in a manner that does not disturb others in any way. Speaking and making phone calls are prohibited, and any audio outputs can only be listened to via personal headphones.

  • The Silent Study is included in the IOCB online reservation system. Interested employees can reserve a specific workspace in advance for an exact date by selecting the required hourly slots. Reservations are possible for the full 24 hours of the day, although there is a limit of 100 hours per person per month. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance. Free spaces can also be occupied without a prior reservation if the employee who made the reservation does not show up within 5 minutes after the start of their reserved time, or if no reservation for that space is recorded in the system at that time. If all spaces in the study room are occupied, waiting for a possible vacancy in the room is not allowed.

  • Eating is prohibited in the Silent Study, but drinks are allowed.

  • Upon leaving the Silent Study, no personal items should be left on the table; the workspace must be empty, clean, and ready for the next user.
