ASEP
The ASEP database contains bibliographic records of the outcomes of scientific research in the institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic since 1993. The obligation to store these records in the database ASEP results from the Academic Council directive № 4/2013.
Selected data from the database ASEP are annually exported to RIV (Information Register of Research and Development Results). Collecting of the data, providing support to the institutes and transfer of the data to the RIV for the entire Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic coordinate the Library of ASCR.
On-line catalog ASEP – contains publicly accessible bibliographic information about publications of Institutes of the Academy of Sciences. It allows you to search in the records according to various criteria (menu under "All Fields", can be limited by the year of publication, etc.). To display results for a group choose "Author's section" from "All fields" and enter uochb-department number including slash (eg. uochb-210/21).
ASEP Analytics – enables creating bibliographic summaries and graphical outputs that relate to the institutes,
departments and individual scientists.
RIV
RIV (Information Register of Research and Development Results) is a database of the Research, Development and Innovation Council which collects data for the purpose of evaluating the results of purposely and institutionally supported research and development in the Czech Republic. Transfer of the data to the RIV is one of the basic conditions for the provision of institutional resources for research and development.
RIV contains only certain types of publications that have arisen in the context of addressing specific research plans and projects (grants). Information about projects is available in the database CEP – Central register of research and development projects supported from the state budget.
Records to the RIV for the entire Academy of Sciences are passed on by Library of AS CR on the basis of selected data from the ASEP. What is not in the ASEP, will not be in RIV; to the RIV there are sent publications satisfying the stringent criteria, ASEP serves as an overview of the publication activity.
