What is the EuroNanoMed?
EuroNanoMed is an ERA-NET on Nanomedicine, e.g. platform of national or regional funding bodies that launches joint calls for proposals for European Innovative Research & Technological Development Projects in Nanomedicine. The aims of the calls are to support of translational research projects that combine innovative approaches in the field of nanomedicine and to encourage and enable translational collaboration between public and private research groups from academia and enterprises. Who can apply for the EuroNanoMed?
Consortium consisting of 3-5 partners (up to 7 partners with participation of partner/s from under-represented countries) from at least 3 different countries represented by a coordinator. Consortium must include research group/s from at least 2 of the following three categories: Academia, Clinical/public health research sector, Enterprises.

The nearest call deadline for 12th Joint Transnational Call for Pre-proposals EuroNanoMed and the parallel TA ČR Cofund call deadline is Thu 21 Jan 2021 17:00 CET (IOCB deadline Mon 18 Jan 2021).

How to apply for the EuroNanoMed?
- Find and read programme guidelines:
- Identify relevant project partners and further team members you would like to work with. Negotiate and justify roles, activities and responsibilities of all partners in the project. Designate the main Project Coordinator of the consortium, who will be responsible for a submission of the joint proposal via electronic submission system.
- Contact the host institutions and negotiate the institutional support. For IOCB official agreement is necessary to complete the
project request form
. Please, contact the Project Office.
- Together with other PIs elaborate the research idea. Work tightly with the other PIs and allow time for others to review the draft proposal. The information given in the pre-proposal is binding.
- Data of participating organisation IOCB (incl. names of team members);
- Your financial plan (items description, costs);
- Your CV (short CV, list of 5 relevant publication for last 5 years);
- Participate on preparation of the joint project description part.

C1) Register the joint project proposal in the electronic submission system
and complete online sections of the application.
C2) Coordinate the preparation of the offline joint proposal - use template
C3) Finalize the offline application form and make a PDF from the final version. Upload the application form to the project account into the electronic submission system. Be sure that the data provided to the electronic system are identical with data in the offline application form. Please take into account that the online data entry may be overloaded on the days of the deadlines. It is therefore recommended to transfer all obligatory data in good time. Be aware that eligible costs and funding provisions may vary according to the respective national/regional funding organizations regulation. |
- Complete mandatory national application to the TA ČR
- TA ČR application form (identification of a participant, budget (in €), outputs (applicant & Project Office);
- A Sworn statement of the applicant (Project Office);
- Other documentation if applicable.
Deadline for submission of the joint Pre-proposal (done by the Project Coordinator) and national application to the TA ČR is on Thu 21 Jan 2021 17:00 CET (IOCB deadline Mon 18 Jan 2021).
- Results of Pre-proposals assessment by end of 27 April 2021 (the application template and guidelines for the Full-proposal stage will be provided only to the project coordinators of successful consortia).
- Deadline for Full-proposal submission is on Thu 10 June 2021 17:00 CET (IOCB deadline Mon 07 June 2021).
- Rebuttal stage is 31 August-7 Sept 2021.
- Final results will be announcement in October 2021.
- The TA ČR national call for successful applicants will be in October 2021 (the application template for national call will be provided only to the Czech applicant of successful consortia – in Czech language).
- The grant start date is expected to start beginning of 2022.
