What is the MSTC Danube?

MSTC Danube (MŠMT/MEYS) is the program for financing multilateral scientific and technological cooperation. Program aims at support of participation of research groups from Czech research organisation in multilateral research projects with 3 or more participants from various countries. Partners apply for funding to their respective provider. Involved countries and their programs are following:

 

 

Who can apply for the MSTC Danube?

Researchers working at research organization in accordance with Czech legal conditions. Eligible research organizations are listed on this website.

 

Why to apply for the MSTC Danube?

Approved projects get financial support for the mobility of researchers among the participating countries to carry out joint research projects. In this regard, funding will be made available for visits and exchanges of scientists conducting joint research.

 

When to apply for the MSTC Danube?

The nearest MSTC Danube Call is open by on Fri 20 Sep 2019 23:59:59 CET (IOCB deadline Wed 18 Sep 2019).

How to apply for the MSTC Danube

  1. Find and read programme documentation:
  2. Contact your colleagues from the involved countries (min. 3 participating countries) and jointly prepare project proposal.
  3. For IOCB official agreement is necessary to complete the project request form  .
  4. Contact the Project Office.
  5. Complete all parts of your project proposal (use the project proposal template):
    • Project description including the methodological part (3 to 5 A4 pages)
    • Brief description of the partner institution
    • Short description of the project tasks of ALL project members
    • Further cooperation perspective
    • Financial plan = budget table (applicant with Project Office)
    • Statutory representatives signatures and institutional stamps of all participating partners (applicant or Project office)
    • Mandatory annexes
      1. List of relevant publications of the last 2 years (applicant)
      2. Brief academic CV for each Czech project member (applicant)
      3. The consent to the processing of personal data of all Czech research members (applicant or Project Office)
      4. The form Guidelines of Good Practices (Project Office)
  6. The Project Office will submit your final project proposal via data box (datová schránka) before Fri 20 Sep 2019 23:59:59 CET (IOCB deadline Wed 18 Sep 20).

Final evaluation results will be announced in Feb 2020.
The project implementation will start earliest in Mar 2020.
