StarDrop Logo

Stardrop is a software that can help every medicinal chemist working with small molecules. Its user-friendly interface allows fast and effective data analysis, prediction of ADME parametres, P450 metabolism and toxicity and 3D SAR analysis.

Please keep in mind that a floating license allows only a limited number of concurrent users at the same time. Please use the proper bundle that best fits your needs. To change the active floating license bundle, please quit the application and start it again. You will be prompted which bundle to use every time you start the application.


  • Download installation files (Windows, macOS) and documentation.

  • Install the application with its default options.

  • Launch the StarDrop application for the first time. The app will let you know that there are no valid license keys installed, click OK.

  • Read the Licence Agreement and click I Agree.

  • The app will start in StarDrop Viewer mode, click Close.

  • In the main application window click Help - Manage Licenses...

  • Under Licenses click Add. New window opens, enter license information. We have several floating license bundles, each containing different combination of modules:


    1. Here is a floating license (3 seats) key which enables StarDrop, valid until 16 July 2026.
      License: AAAAAAH7XVU2CBWBJLDG5ERXYHRYMXLK6AGAAQAQ
      Password: REENJA

    2. Here is a floating license key (2 seats) which enables StarDrop's ADME QSAR and P450 modules, valid until 16 July 2026.
      License: AMBAAAHOJDD6KZYZTKYEXJ2DIR5CRNLQ6AGAAQAQ
      Password: REENJA

    3. Here is a floating license key (1 seat) which enables StarDrop's Auto-Modeller, Nova, BIOSTER, SeeSAR View, SeeSAR Pose, SeeSAR Affinity and Surflex eSim3D modules, valid until 16 July 2026.
      License: JQXQAAD45FIVDOMYO7N7B2X63E6ENZHF6AGAAQAQ
      Password: REENJA

    Click OK. All appropriate licenses should change to green and StarDrop status should change to Licensed. You can install all of them, one after another, and you will be prompted which bundle to use every time you start the application.


  • Under "Set license server" please enter address of the server: 192.168.120.16. Keep port number set to 9090. Click Connect. Status should change to Connected.

  • Click OK

  • From the main application window choose File - Preferences. Settings on following cards need to be changed:

    Models: Use model servers - Add - Server: 192.168.120.16 (keep port 9000 unchanged)
    P450: Name: 192.168.120.16 (keep port 8050 unchanged)
    Auto-Modeller: Name: 192.168.120.16 (keep port 9050 unchanged)


  • Click OK

  • In bottom-right corner of the app you should see several indicators, each representing one active module and its respective server. The combination would vary depending on the selected floating license bundle. Example bellow.
