Benefits for year 2024

On 1 January 2024, a new government regulation on the consolidation of public budgets (the so-called consolidation package) will come into force, which changes the rules for both the creation of the social fund and the use of the fund by employees. The consolidation package will significantly restrict employees in how they can use their benefit points provided by the social fund. As a result of these changes, we are therefore required to change the rules for the use of benefit points by employees in 2024 as follows:

  • If you are already using benefit points for your suplimentary pension plan or choose to do so from 2024, you will have 7,200 points available in 2024 at 100% workload (monthly contribution of 600 points/CZK), with a minimum contribution of 3900 points/CZK per year (monthly amount of 325 points/CZK) to your suplimentary pension plan.
  • If you do not wish to take out a pension saving plan, you will have 3 300 points/CZK (monthly amount of 275 points/CZK) available in 2024. You can use these benefit points for sports, culture, educational courses, recreation, vitamins, optical equipment or a Multisport card.

In order to be able to begin drawing the benefits, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to web browser at www.benefity.cz the same login credentials as in previous years.
  • Find out the available balance on your account. Please note that points are calculated for the entire year. If your employment ends during the year, the point balance needs to be adjusted based on the length of your employment. Over-drafted points will be deducted from the last salary.
  • Employee who wishes to start using the benefit points for a supplementary pension plan must submit the request to the payroll department no later than December 22 of the calendar year preceding the calendar year in which the benefit is to be used. (Newly started employees can submit the request for the pension plan contributions during the year).
  • Employee who wishes to start using the benefit points for a MultiSport program must submit the salary deduction form for Multisport to the personnel department no later than December 15 of the calendar year preceding the year in which the benefit is to be used. (Newly started employees can submit the request after the probational period during the year).
