Who is the owner of IP?
Based on Czech laws, intellectual property always belongs to the employer. Commercialization at the institutes of the CAS is via licensing. License agreements can be signed either with an external partner (a company like Novo Nordisk, Gilead, Shine), or with a newly formed spin-off company (DIANA Biotechnologies, Adalid Sciences).
