Ordering laboratory supplies from the OP VVV project

Frequently ordered laboratory supplies are subject to open tenders (public procurement) and cannot be funded from the OPVVV project until the tenders are closed. Each research group involved in OP VVV project has to establish one or two persons that provides the orders for the whole group and stick to the following temporary rules:

  1. Each ordered product has to be searched for in the list of 384 items. The list is now available in Czech as Seznam soutežených položek  . The list is divided into 16 categories (see below):

    • Falcon tubes
    • Microcentrifuge tubes
    • Kits
    • Enzymes
    • Chemicals
    • Lab disposables
    • Oligonucleotides
    • Gases
    • PAGE supplies
    • Antibodies
    • Radiochemicals
    • Solvents
    • Silicagel
    • Pipette tips
    • Media for tissue and cell cultures
    • Plastic for tissue and cell cultures


    When ordering anything that might appear in the list, filter the list and checked the description of the items in the category or use the text search. Mind the important fact that not all items are included as particular products, but they are described only in general. Chemicals and solvents may be searched under the CAS number.

    › if the item is included, order it from another grant. .
    › if the item is not included, order it from OP VVV project.

  2. Should you order the lab supplies from OP VVV, do not forget to choose the right budget code in Albina. Unlike in other projects, the budget for lab supplies is planned in several categories such as chemicals/biochemicals/media for tissue cultures etc.

Example:

Ordering semi micro spectrophotometric PMMA cuvettes (for UV). I guess they may be classified as “lab disposables”. I filter Excel sheet Seznam soutežených položek   and see the cuvettes are not included.



I see that the cuvettes are included (please, note that some products may be placed in other category than you would expect). But only those made from PS. I can buy PMMA cuvettes from the OPVVV.



I dismiss the filter and search for “cuvett” in the product/product description:



Unlike in other projects, the lab supplies budget in OPVVV is further divided depending on the group. E.g. Hocek Group has four subcategories.

Please, place the product into the most convenient category and do not forget to fill it in ALBÍNA system (now under preparation)
