Pursuant to Act № 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, IOCB has established an internal whistleblowing system for the purpose of filing and assessing reports of possible illegal activity that have occurred or are about to occur at IOCB and of which the whistleblower has become aware in connection with his or her work for IOCB and which meet any of the following conditions:

• bears characteristics of a crime,
• bears characteristics of a contravention for which the upper fine rate is set at least 100 000 CZK,
• violates a Czech or EU law or other legal regulation.

The authorized person for reports:

1. by e-mail to pohl.whistleblowing@uochb.cas.cz (mailbox accessible only to the authorized person),
2. by post to the following address:

3. by phone at (+420) 220 183 330, accessible to the authorized person,
4. in person - if the whistleblower so requests, the report will be received by the authorized person at a personal meeting within 14 days at the latest.

The identity of the whistleblower will not be disclosed by the authorized person to anyone else, including the IOCB management, without his or her express consent, unless the information is provided to the competent public authorities in accordance with the law. The authorized person has been appointed by the IOCB Director and is the only person who is allowed to handle and assess the reports.
