The Laboratory of Synthesis of Radiolabeled Compounds, formerly named Central Laboratory of Radioisotopes or Laboratory of Radioisotopes, has been part of the IOCB since
its foundation in early fifties of the 20th century. The laboratory was recently renovated offering state-of-the-art instrumentation for carrying out safe synthesis and analyses of
radioactively labeled compounds.

- Provision of radiometric services
- Radioactive waste management
- Collecting, sorting and disposal of radioactive waste
(B.01.01, close to chemical warehouse)
- Radioactive waste cover letter
- Collecting, sorting and disposal of radioactive waste

Contacts
All members are Radiation protection experts named by SUJB (the State Office for Nuclear Safety), providing consultations about safe radioactive handling of radioisotopes and supervise the compliance of radiation protection measures with Czech Atomic Law 263/2016, Radiation Protection law 422/2016 and IOCB internal regulations.
All members carry out low-scale synthesis of radioligands.
