Compound withdrawal requests

Compound withdrawal requestsare submitted by e-mail to pavel.sacha@uochb.cas.cz.

1. For the screening of the entire library, you must have developed a sufficiently robust assay for minimal consumption of substances from the library (this can be discussed including testing automation), typically in multiples of 2.5 nl of 10 mM DMSO solution. It is possible to prepare test plates in the following formats:

   Pipetting into the empty plates supplied by you is preferred, in necessary cases of cell assays it is possible dispense the compounds directly to the prepared cells (this procedure can only be used for tested plates from which the medium does not leak when inverted).

   It is possible to arrange the library screening in parts or in another format. For external testing outside the IOCB, an approval and contract prepared with IOCB Tech is required.

   The results of the testing must be saved in the AHL.




2. To confirm hits from screening or to take compounds from the library, for example for sending compounds (prefer sending solutions when possible due to lower compound consumption) from your group to your collaborators, it is necessary to send a list of substances in the form of the complete IOCBcode, ideally in the body of the e-mail. For example:

   Please take 2 µl (weigh in 0.2-0.4 mg exactly) of the following substances into a 200 µl PCR tubes or strip (into 1.5 or 2 ml Eppendorf tube):

The withdrawal of compounds from the purchased library of FDA-approved compounds is also in preparation.
