Single particle analysis (SPA) is a technique used in structural biology to determine 3D structure of macromolecules, such as proteins or nucleic acids and their complexes. SPA involves analyzing individual macromolecules, which are imaged using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM).

Sample preparation and initial sample characterization is conducted at IOCB. Advanced data acquisition is done at CEITEC, Brno. Data processing is conducted at IOCB Aurum cluster. Methodology training is available.

  • Minimum sample quantity ca 20 µl of 1 µM.
