EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND)
What is the JP Neurodegenerative Diseases?
The EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) is the largest global research initiative aimed at tackling the challenge of neurodegenerative diseases. JPND aims to increase coordinated investment between participating countries in research aimed at finding causes, developing cures, and identifying appropriate ways to care for those with neurodegenerative diseases. Therefore, a network of national funding organizations from interested countries, in partnership with the EC, regularly launches joint calls for multinational and multidisciplinary collaborative research projects to encourage collaboration between public and private research groups from academia and enterprises. The Czech research teams are supported by the MEYS (MŠMT). The current call is open on the topic of Mechanisms and measurement of disease progression in the early phase of neurodegenerative diseases. See more details in the JPND 2024 Call Summary
