MEYS Mobility Projects
What are the MEYS (MŠMT) Mobility projects?
The programme is carried out in the frame of international agreements with selected partner countries with the aim to stimulate international research and support the mobility of senior and junior researchers. Collaboration should result in a preparation of larger international/European projects. Conditions may vary based on the bilateral agreements.

Who can apply for the MEYS (MŠMT) Mobility projects?
Senior or junior researchers (with a Ph.D.) from Czech institutions (Ph.D. students as a team members).
Why apply for the MEYS (MŠMT) Mobility projects?
You can receive a financial contribution towards your travel costs (including transport and travel insurance) and living allowance (accommodation costs, per diems and optional spending allowance).

How to apply for the MEYS (MŠMT) Mobility projects 2026–2027?

Contact your foreign partner/colleague in a relevant country and jointly prepare MSMT Mobility project proposal.
- Project proposals must be submitted in parallel to both partner organizations.
- Identical information concerning to both institutions, principal investigators and their teams, project title, abstract and project description has to be provided.
- Financial contributions must be calculated and provided in compliance with the valid national legislation and internal regulations of the partner organizations.

Fill all the parts of the off-line Application form. The form has to be completed in Czech, with the exception of the fields marked for completion in English:
- Details of the Czech beneficiaries, PI, co-PI, project title, keywords, fields of R&D
- Project description and literature (max. 5 pages in total)
- Expected outputs/results (max. 1 page)
- Project goals in Czech (max.1 page)
- Project goals in English (max. 1 page)
- Research teams details (4 pages – form columns)
- Budget (mobility costs, living costs)
- Budget justification (max. 1 page)
- Czech PI and key team members: CVs in Czech or English (max 1 page/PI, 1/2 page/team member in pdf or docx)
- Other attachments (optional) – figures, graphs, schematics etc.
- For IOCB approval with project submission, please complete the form in the electronic project proposal approval system.
- Send the Application form and attachments by e-mail to the Project Office (projectoffice@uochb.cs.cz) before the IOCB internal deadline for a formal check.
- Check that your colleagues submit in parallel matching application to their national provider.
The project proposal will be submitted to MEYS (MSMT) through the data box system by the final deadline – this will be taken care of by the Project Office.
